Back in 2012, having just left school, I was offered an incredible opportunity by Dominic Grammaticas, the managing director of Governors’ Camp. He was after a resident photographer and “gap student”, someone to help with the running of the camps while also creating content for social media. It was this moment that I attribute to being the start of my career in wildlife photography.

With six safari lodges across Kenya and one in Volanoes National Park, Rwanda, Governors’ are one of the oldest family run safari operators in Kenya. As of 2019 I have gratefully accepted the chance to be their in house photographer during the high seasons (December-February & June-September) to provide photo tutorials for guests, in house editing sessions and helping run their photography competition, “Governors’ Captures”.

With four incredible tented camps situated in the heart of the Masai Mara and a hot air balloon safari operation it’s the perfect place to launch photo safaris from.
