Back in 2012, having just left school, I was offered an incredible opportunity by Dominic Grammaticas, the managing director of Governors’ Camp. He was after a resident photographer and “gap student”, someone to help with the running of the camps while also creating content for social media. Being able to live in the Masai Mara was an incredible opportunity, particularly for an 18 year old and it is the moment that I attribute to being the start of my career in wildlife photography. Now, seven years later I’m still working with Governors’ as their in house photographer running private and group photo safaris.
With four incredible tented camps situated in the heart of the Masai Mara and a hot air balloon safari operation that follows the Mara river it’s the perfect place to launch photo safaris from. To go with this we also have a lodge in the Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda and two (about to be three) more in Kenya all offering wonderfully different experiences.
